The Problem To Be Solved:

Bathrooms are known to be areas that breed bacteria since water and dampness are causees of mold and mildew. When several household members share a bathroom, the bathroom rugs tend to get soaked with water each time an individual steps out of the bathtub after showering.

Since rugs can take a long time to dry out, they remain damp at the very least. With multiple daily use by household members over a period of a minimum of three to seven days before washing, the rug is an unsanitary item that can breed bacteria and contributes to illnesses.

Dry Space^TM

The Dry Space^TM is a specialized gel pad and water retainer system designed to be used on restroom floors. After getting out of the shower, users step onto the Dry Space^TM where excess water immediately drains into a built-in receptacle at the bottom, allowing the user to stand on a surface that very quickly dries off and is ready for the next user. This helps eliminates the common and unsanitary conditions that often form on bathroom floors after showering.

The Dry Space^TM features a rectangular center with a gel-type material and an oval trim for the edges. It is 2 inches high, 3 feet long, and 2 feet wide. It is bordered by a sturdy plastic frame designed to withstand up to 400+ pounds but remains lightweight even when it has soaked up a substantial amount of liquid. It features hardened, small gel sticks around the entire product for slip resistance.

Additionally the Dry Space^TM features drain holes and a drain plug for releasing all collected water at a certain point. The product is lightweight and is easy for any user to handle.

It also has value and utlity in both commercial and residential settings, especially in restrooms with high traffic, such as in gyms, locker rooms, spas, etc.
