The Problem To Be Solved:

Several popular hair salon treatments require use of the hard hat hooded hair dryer, some of which include:

  • Shampoo and Set
  • Permanents
  • Deep Conditioning Treatments
  • Hair Wraps/Foils/Highlighting
  • Hair Relaxing

Beauty salons often have their customers sit under large commercial hooded hair dryers to dry and set their hair, condition their hair, or speed up hair treatments.

However, these commercial hair dryers are usually high wattage and can be extremely hot. Combined with chemicals that are worked into the treated hair, the flow of hot air can burn and injure the customer's forehead, eyes (especially if wearing contact lens), nose and/or front area of the face.

Due to the awkwardness of wearing large hair curlers or other hair setting tools while under the hair dryer, there is no way to shield the user's face from the hot heat.

Beauty Face ShieldTM

The Beauty Face ShieldTM is a lightweight, disposable face shield that protects the user's forehead and front of the face from the barrage of hot heat dispensed from these types of commercial hair dryers.

The Beauty Face ShieldTM is similar to a visor, but is designed to be placed at the very top of the forehead where it meets the hairline, with arms (temples) that extend back and rest over the ears. Once used, it can be discarded or given to the customer to take home. The customer can then re-use it in the home environment.

ADVERTISING SPECIALTY & PROMOTIONAL ITEM

The Beauty Face ShieldTM can be made in a variety of popular colors, and the plastic material of the shield/bill is imprintable, making them ideal as an advertising specialty & promotional item for beauty salons and beauty industry product manufacturers.

Beauty Salons:
The Beauty Face ShieldTM can be utilized by beauty salons as an advertising specialty & promotional item which is functional during the customer's visit, but can also be imprinted with the beauty salon's name, logo and contact information (i.e. web site, phone, address), and given to the customer as a take-home promotional item.

The cost for beauty salons to purchase these items in bulk would be nominal considering that it helps prevent injuries to their customers, and limits liability to the beauty salon.

Product Manufacturers:
The Beauty Face ShieldTM can be utilized by product manufacturers of shampoos, conditioners, and other high visibility branded products as an advertising specialty & promotional item which can be imprinted with the manufacturer's name and logo. It can be used for special product promotions or introductions, and be given away to beauty salons, who can then provide them to their customers.

The cost for product manufacturers to purchase these items in bulk would be nominal considering the economy of scale for larger orders. It is an item that beauty salons will use because it helps prevent injuries to their customers, and limits liability to the beauty salon, thus the promotional value is two-fold, with an advertising reach to both beauty salons and their customers.
