AcuRelieverTM
The Problem To Be Solved:

Acupressure is an ancient Chinese therapeutic healing technique, which is a non-invasive form of acupuncture. It involves applying pressure with the hands or fingers to certain areas of the body to help relieve pain and release tension.

One acupressure point can be very effective in relieving conditions such as headaches, migraines, stress and nausea. This is accomplished by applying controlled pressure to the "LI4" points of the hands, located in the fleshy area between the thumb and forefinger.

Pressure is usually applied to one person's hands by another person. However, a second person may not be able to apply the correct pressure and is not always available. An individual can use one of their hands to apply pressure to the other hand; however this approach is less effective, if effective at all. Applying pressure to both hands simultaneously has been found to be much more effective.

The AcuRelieverTM

The AcuRelieverTM is an easy to use handheld device that allows a person to experience the benefits of professionally applied acupressure at any time without the assistance of another person.

The AcuRelieverTM is fully customizable to both hands. This enables the user to easily adjust the AcuRelieverTM to the points on both hands that are most effective for optimum pain relief or general relaxation.

A foot pedal allows the user to easily vary the amount of pressure applied during a treatment session.
