Stand-A-CoverTM Serving Dishware
Featured here is the first covered serving dish, with a slot built into both ends of the base.  This allows you to remove the cover and stand it upright.  Any moisture accumulated on the cover will drain back into the base. This dish is ideal for use while barbecuing, cookouts, camping and for RV enthusiasts.

This patented idea can be expanded to an unlimited assortment of containers.  These containers could be made of plastic, stainless steel, aluminum or heat treated glass.

The dish may be designed to stand the cover on any side of the base.

A complete line of Stand-A-Cover TM serving dishes made of stainless steel certainly would be welcomed by the catering and buffet industry.  The ability to stand the cover on the side, or end of the serving tray, instead of the covers being half-on or half-off or placed on the floor or under the counter using up space that the Stand-A-Cover TM method does not need.

In hospitals, all food served to the patients must be covered. The patient’s ability to stand the cover on the side of the dish would keep the cover sterile so if they wish they may recover their food without fear of contamination.

Dentists and doctors have numerous items that must be kept in sterilized containers.  With the Stand-A-Cover TM method you simply stand the cover into the base keeping it off the counter and in a sterilized condition.
