When driving away from your home, do you often forget whether you closed the garage door or not? Do you worry that you might have left it open, causing you to turn around and drive home time and again to check if it's closed?
"The Reminder" solves this problem. It is a wireless electronic device that sounds a beep in your car when driving away. However, it beeps only if the garage door has been left in the open position, thus letting drivers know for certain whether the garage door is closed or open as they drive away. This saves them valuable time and alleviates their worries.
"The Reminder" is composed of two parts: 1) a transmitter which is installed inside the garage; 2) a receiver which can be installed anywhere within the car using velcro or two-sided tape.
The transmitter in the garage can send an audio signal to the receiver in the car up to a range of 150 to 200 feet.
