When towing a trailer, boat, RV or camper, the electrical wiring needs to be attached between the towing vehicle and the trailer, in order to operate the turn signals and brake lights of the trailer. However these wires are frequently damaged, broken or frayed due to being improperly connected, dragging or exposed to excessive weather conditions, drying out the insulation.
The Reel-Deal
The solution is here! Independent Solutions, Inc. has developed an innovative retractable wire harness device that is perfect for the owner and operator of a trailer who is tired of repairing or replacing the truck or trailer wires due to unexpected damage. The Reel-Deal is a self adjusting retractable wire harness device that safely stores and protects the wires, when not in use and keeps the wires extended above the ground when being used. In short it enables the trailer owners to affordably secure and protect the electrical lines of their equipment, while offering the benefit of the free flow movement of the electrical lines.
The diversity this product line offers is the ability to sell to the customer as an after market device or as a manufacturer's feature item. In addition, it may also be considered as a special order item that can be hard wire mounted directly to the trailer as part of the single source wiring configuration.
The Reel-Deal has numerous mounting configurations including the top, bottom, or either side of the trailer tongue or support frame.
When in use the wires are automatically adjusted extending or retracting as needed, maintaining the wires in a taut position.
