CDs and DVDs are a popular multimedia medium for a variety of data including music, software, graphics, etc. They are also great for storing back-up data as well as sharing data. Computer users, as well as DVD and audio CD users often work with a variety of discs at the same time.
However, while the CDs are being used, it isn't practical to put them in and out of their jewel cases since they take up a lot of space and are cumbersome.
As a result, people who work with many CDs at the same time, often find that the small and thin CD discs can get lost under paperwork, files, or other items on their desk or wherever they're being used.
The CD Tropolis solves this problem and is a way to temporarily store all the CD/DVDs discs on the desktop/location where they are being used, where they can be quickly sorted through to find the one that's needed.
The CD Tropolis features three designs including:
1) a small desktop unit with one hook/peg unit that holds up to 20 CD discs;
2) 2 individual units that hold 20 CD'S each can be mounted separately in a dvd cabinet like one on each side, so one side can hold dvd's you haven't watched and the other side those you have.
3) a wall/desk unit with four hooks/pegs that holds up to 80 CD discs. Optional dust covers protect the stack of CDs while on the CD Tropolis units.
The CD Tropolis units can be made out of a variety of materials including wood, plastic, or metal, and are very easy to mass produce. They are recyclable and do not impose any threat to the environment.
Target market:
Households with a computer, DVD player, or audio cd player, with a secondary market for schools and businesses. They also have a worldwide market because every country now has these needs.
