Parents with young children know how difficult it can be to keep track of kids when going out to places like the supermarket, etc. In a flash, kids run down the aisles and disappear out of the sight of their frazzled and frustrated parents.

Back at home, kids playing outside often wander away from their home in search of a ball or other distraction, and very young children can quickly become disoriented and lost.

The Alert Parent is designed to give parents some peace of mind when going on errands or when kids are playing outside, by designating a specific zone space and alerting the parents when children go outside of this "safe" zone.

The Alert Parent is designed as a set of watches that both the parent and child wear which can be pre-set to distances of 10, 15, 20, or 25 feet. When a child leaves this safe zone, the child's watch triggers a signal to the parent's watch, which alerts the parent by an audible beep.

Once the parent hears the beep and is aware that his/her child is wandering away, he/she can quickly go look for and locate the child to prevent any potential danger.
