Unique features & benefits:

In the USA, alone, there are 683,280 rapes each year. Due to this, many people have become afraid of their surroundings, even in the daylight, for example, mall shoppers, walkers, runners, joggers, and late-night shift workers. In cases of abduction, there is an increased risk of life endangerment once a victim is forced into a vehicle.

Protective alarm devices help people feel safer in potentially dangerous situations since alarms can help scare the assailant away.

Resembling a harmless pocket flashlight, the Defender DNA is a personal hand-held protection device which sounds a piercing alarm when activated, but goes one step further.

Since most victims have difficulty identifying their assailants, the Defender DNA provides a unique feature that also helps the victim obtain a DNA sample from the assailant so that he can later be identified and caught.

The Defender DNA is small enough to be carried in a purse or pocket, and in a potentially dangerous situation, is designed be carried in either hand, similar to holding a flashlight.

If approached by an assailant, a slight jab with the base of the Defender DNA will reveal the DNA extraction probe. Just prick the assailant anywhere to collect a sample of DNA while activating a piercing alarm of 120dB.

"From my over twenty years in law enforcement, one of the things I have believed would greatly enhance law enforcement effectiveness is a method to obtain DNA samples in more situations. As a veteran woman police captain, I have evaluated the Defender DNA device and believe it may accomplish this goal. This device would be a significant criminal investigative aid and, most importantly, possibly prevent future victims due to the higher probability of arrest and conviction."

The loud alarm provides the split second shock value, which in turn allows a potential victim to safely flee a potential assault. The alarm will continue to sound for up to 10 minutes unless deactivated.

A major advantage of the Defender DNA is that unlike others personal protection devices, the Defender DNA does not pose a harmful threat to its user, if it should be taken away from the user by the attacker. In fact, the DNA extraction probe is no more dangerous than a straight pin.

The Defender DNA uses a powerful 12-volt battery and is reusable. Replacement batteries are available from most hardware stores.

The Defender DNA is available retail at a price of $25.00 (including shipping within the USA). Additional information and purchasing information is available at:
