Fling-the-Ring[tm]
Game of the 21st Century
Category: Toys & Games

go to contact information

Unique features & benefits:

Fling-the-Ring is a round, plastic, inflatable ring (donut shaped), approximately 12 inches wide, with similar aerodynamic qualities of existing flying toys, which is easier for anyone of any age to catch because the ring can either be grabbed in flight by the hand, or caught by inserting the arm through the center hole as it descends.

With planned availability of Fling-the-Ring in several bright fluorescent and glow-in-the dark colors, it is a dynamic recreational toy for freestyle tossing and catching during the daytime or nightime at the beach, park, pool or backyard.

It floats at the pool, beach, or lake and can be played virtually anywhere inside or outside. Due to a special valve inside, it is perpetually self-inflating and lasts for years.

Made of soft durable rubber and filled with air, it is also safe and won't hurt anyone if it accidentally hits the face or head. Even toddlers can safely play with it, learning to throw and catch, while developing their hand-eye coordination.

Lightweight enough to fly, yet dense enough to move steadily towards its target, it can be played with by the whole family at whatever pace is chosen, and is great for having fun and for getting a full body workout at the same time.

For adults and seniors, it can even be used as an isometric device - by holding it in both arms with arms outstretched while pushing both sides towards each each other. Or to increase flexibility by squeezing the ring and then releasing the pressure as an exercise for arthritic hands and fingers.

Packaged as "Ring Tennis" with a net and accessories, it is played similar to tennis with the same scoring process, except that the object is to catch the ring before it hits the floor, and to immediately (within 5 seconds) fling it across to the opponent's court either forehand or backhand, going back and forth like regular tennis.

Ring Tennis can also be played at the beach (Beach Tennis) using the net or by drawing a center line in the sand, or in a pool (Ring Polo) with an arbitrary line in the center.
