Unique features & benefits:
A compact, crush-proof emergency survival unit which is airtight, waterproof, floats, and has a special compartment to store basic survival supplies.

The KEEP® is a new design for safety, offering all the features to save lives and enhance a person's security by carrying survival gear into the water. Always ready for an emergency without needing to be inflated, the KEEP is a versatile man over-board rescue unit and abandon-ship device.

The first of its kind to exist, this unit was designed to hold onto in the water like a log, with a safety strap securing you to it, while holding rescue supplies at your finger tips. Made of a linear low density polyethylene, it was constructed to withstand the worst of conditions. With its easy grab handle it can be thrown to anyone who goes overboard and becomes separated from their boat or raft.

The lid has an O-ring to seal out water, and is set below the highest part of the unit to protect it in a fall. Weighing approximately 6 pounds empty, it has the capacity to carry another 7 to 8 pounds of your choice of emergency provisions safely inside. Measuring 7 1/2"x 31" long, it was designed to be used with a life jacket, but in an emergency this unit will "KEEP" a person afloat.

It successfully went through four major tests, by Consolidated Laboratories, an aerospace testing company in the U.S. One of the tests, and most important was a flotation test proving a remarkable safety feature of the unit. A special substance has been placed inside the unit at each end to keep it afloat, even if it becomes awash with water! Tests showed that if the lid came off and it filled with water, (and the recommended supplies inside), it would stay afloat and have 18 pounds of buoyancy. Lid on and with contents, 28 pounds of buoyancy. Empty and no contents with lid on, 34 pounds of buoyancy.

A strobe light can be fitted into the lid for night time rescue and can be seen for miles away. Other pertinent features and details are available upon request.

Target market: Government agencies, any boat that leaves the shore, aircraft that fly over water, or people living in lowland flood areas. Secondary market: Earthquake survival or storage containers.

Inventor is seeking: A licensee to market the product, and introduce the world to a whole new concept in flotation devices.
